Looking for somewhere to celebrate or just a special night out? The Restaurant at Hammond’s combines fine dining and luxurious surroundings.

Our menus bring the best of British cuisine but are brought up to date with modern cooking techniques. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening we offer a 5 or 6 course tasting menu (when chosen by the whole table) alongside an a la carte menu and a 2 or 3 course set dinner menu, using where possible local suppliers and seasonal ingredients.

Meet Tommy

I have had the privilege of working at some renowned establishment throughout my culinary career. After graduating collage and working in kitchens for a handful of years, I decided it was time to see how far I could take my career. I started with Restaurant Ramsey, where I spent a year honing my skills. From there, I moved on to Thackeray’s, where I continued to learn and grow in the kitchen. Another highlight of my career was the opportunity to work at the ground-breaking local fine dining restaurant ‘The Old Bank’ for 3 and a half years as their senior sous chef. With fifteen years of experience in the kitchen, I have worked my way up and gained expertise in various aspects of the culinary arts, creating dishes using using locally sourced produce where possible, ensuring freshness and quality in every plate I prepare. In addition, I am skilled in designing menus that challenge the obvious pairing of foods to deliver interesting new concepts. I thrive to create an exceptional dining experience and deliver delicious and visually appealing dishes to my customers.
